Joanna approached me to write the copy for her new website, launching her psychological coaching and yoga therapy services for busy tech professionals.
Joanna had a clear target audience for her executive wellbeing services. Stressed out individuals and teams close to burnout in the technology industry. Having worked for many years in this industry herself, Joanna knew the pain and challenges of working in a busy tech environment, and is now taking her knowledge gained from her coaching and yoga therapy training to help give people the tools they need to unwind and create a more manageable work/life balance.
From our initial call I was already in love with what Joanna was doing with her business. Clear audience and wonderful services that will really make a difference to someone’s life. What’s not to love?
When it came to writing the copy we knew we wanted to use language that connected to the tech industry. “Switch off before you crash” is a great example of using tech-inspired words to clearly and quickly get the message across to the audience.
It was a fine balance between being creative with words, and not confusing with jargon. We trialled a few variations of the copy before we found the perfect fit, but the results have led to a website which identifies quickly who it’s for, what Joanna does, how it’s going to help her audience, and what they should do next.
A perfect example of why I love website copywriting. I can’t wait to see the results this will drive for Joanna.
